Judgement at DC Poll

In the following clip, Spencer Tracy plays the judge in the war crimes trials against the Germans at Nuremberg.  If you watch the whole movie you’ll see the Germans and their lawyers make the very same arguments for their war crimes as the Bush administration (and Fox News talking head…whocouldanode?) do for theirs.  It’s ironic reverse deja vu that will have a profound effect on you if you imagine our current set of torture fanatics in place of the German war criminals.  Watch Spencer Tracy sum it up nicely in his reading of the verdict in this clip:

The A&E cable show known as Duck Dynasty had about eight million viewers at the time one of the errant fugly duckers went into full out Jeebus-lovin’ homo-hater mode in a GQ magazine interview.

After that article went viral, it was “Heathens vrs. Holy Men” time (aka America vrs Fox News) all over the TV and internet. The Holy Men assured us that the show would be more popular than ever. I clearly remember the harmonic bleating of the usual cast of knuckle dragging religionists fully agreeing with the Fox News analysis. We were advised by those motley fools that the homosexuals would be better served trying to un-homosexualize themselves than taking on a manly dude who seeks gratification slaughtering ducks. Psychiatric sessions were suggested (for gays, but not compulsive duck murderers), no offense intended…of course.

John Brown, the guy shown below, took up arms himself against the government to help force an end to slavery.

Clive Bundy, the guy shown below, wants you to take up arms to free him of business expenses.

The government will not be shut down long folks.  This I can assure you.  It would destroy the wealth of the rich people.  They are not used to being poor.  Even though Fox News has all the poor people cheering for a TWO MONTH shutdown, it’s not going to happen because the rich people really can’t afford it.
