PZ and his Pusillanimous Pixies

As the most prominent atheist comedian on the planet,I give thanks to the many godless blessings that PZ Myers and his not-so-merry band of Girlyban Skepdinks have provided me. A virtual cornucopia of idiocracy to choose from. The only other comedic assignment with more low hanging fruit than I’ve been provided would have been writing jokes for Bill Mahr during the Bush administration. I could have never have imagined (We all knew!) it would still be going strong at this late stage of the game.

But I don’t make the news, I just report it. PZenu and the pusillanimous pixies of Feminology are holed up over at Pharyngula, which to those unfamiliar with Feminology, is the Internet equivalent of the safe haven carved out by Scientologists in Clearwater FL. Like their cohorts in nonsense, the Feminologists were quick to invent their own rules and jargon. Being blocked and banned as a suppressive person was their initial mimicry. Here we are a couple years on, and now they’ve got an automated process for blocking content off their computers that’s even slicker than the blocking software the Scientologists make their people use to protect them from vicious (truthful) Internet content!)

I swear on the imaginary soul of my long departed mother that I am only adding the tiniest bit of hyperbole as I recount these cult-like similarities, and we haven’t even touched on the Feminologist-specific jargon issue yet! Suffice to,say that those idiots over at Pharyngula HQ are so Out Tech on proper skepticism that rehabilitation seems out of the question. The girls over at the PeezOrg have spent way too much time hooked up to their she-meters. There is always a little hope for their recovery but that’s assuming you could wrestle them away from their firm grasp of PZenu’s balls in the first place (Please no photoshops! (I see it already!)) I run a clean ship over here.

This will probably break the heart and soul of those like Michael Nugent (pity the poor dumb bastard) who favor a policy of NOM (non overlapping menseshysteria) between skepticism and the outright bat shit insanity that appears in faithless femininity, but I see no place for allowing evidence free claims to invade and dilute organizational attention away from the mission of figuratively (trigger warning) bitch slapping creationists and Jeebus slobberers who employ the same techniques (tactics).

One final little dingle dongle to make note of. A sad reminder that the virulent nature of memes (both good and bad-thank you Richard Dawkins) goes on unabated, and can laterally transfer from one group of pusillanimous pixies to another. In the latest example it caused a death (of Adria Richard’s career) and she wasn’t even a part of the skeptic movement! It’s not “something in the water” at conferences or a germ picked up off an unsanitary toilet seat at the buffet restaurant loo (unless that’s where Adria happened to be sitting when she got infected reading the Rebecca Watson Slate article e.g.). There is protection available for those who need it. Simply following this blog or my Twitter feed is a good first step.

Hat Tip to the many positive women of skepticism. Their inspiration and support instills a tingling sense of wonder in the nether regions near my dangling tender jiggly bits. I would name them but I’d sound like Brigham Young reading off a list of his many wives and besides, I’d never kiss and tell.

Marginalizing Misfits

Rebecca Watson, always eager to root out every acorn in the woods concerning anything even tangentially offensive to her delicate sensibilities is (still?) clueless to the mission and goals of The Richard Dawkins Foundation! Becky must avoid looking for information on Richard Dawkins like Kirk Cameron avoids Googling “banana”. She recently stated:

“Regardless of what RDF does for science (and I’m not sure what that is, exactly, though I do know that they donate substantial amounts of money to other organizations that actually do things)”

That is gobsmackingly incurious on her part, considering the magnitude of historical events and given her obvious lust to retain “privileged focus” with the serious rationalist media. Playing(?) dumb works well with her #atheismplus cohorts because they are 99% feminist and only 1% rationalist.

Like any respectable cult leader she is in the position of having to gin up enough dog whistle code to keep her disciples smiling without looking too much like a Pentecostalist tongue-babbler to the diversified (educated) majority of rational skeptics. You need better PR control than Scientology if you want to hide the steady stream of “crazy” coming from Watson these days, and all the banning and blocking in the world ain’t gonna save her. The scam is coming unglued. It certainly isn’t working for her anymore. She is young. She lacks proper perspective. No formal math or science education. The deleterious effects of binge drinking are a real ‘mutha??? People notice….

I was always as underwhelmed by her intellect as I was suspect of her motives and veracity, but even George Bush had heard about “the Google”. Looks like Becky is now gunning for Ken Ham status in the Academy of Intentionally Ignorant Asshats. Maybe she got pointers from PZ Myers? He took a trip down to see Ken Ham and rode his plastic dinosaurs awhile back. Maybe she was there with him riding something too? I dunno. I stay home and Google.

I’ll spare Becky the heavy journalistic work since I know how painful a hangover can be.

Richard Dawkins has a voluminous selection of past presentations that are easily available on YouTube, You can see him speak in person at various upcoming atheist and science events. He is scheduled to,speak at a conference involving medical advances made through the use of evolutionary applications. He’s written a ton of best selling books debunking religion and supporting scientific methodology in support of his work in evolutionary biology, but then books and beer don’t mix so I guess Becky hasn’t read them.

There’s more backstabbing of RDF in her online screed against Dawkins, even as PZ Myers himself called for reason. She wasn’t having any of that tainted old white guy perspective privilege. It was heartwarming to see the King and Queen squabble so openly in public! My regards to PZ for the thinning of his harem, and in his honor:

I nominate “Nailing a cracker” as a synonym for “CONSENSUAL sex with a Skepchick” in the Idioms of New Atheism handbook.

Recapping Atheism Plus

Planet of the #fapes

The Atheism Plus contingent, aka American Girlyban, aka FTBullies are at it again.  Not content with bashing only the largest names in the movement like Richard Dawkins & Lawrence Krauss, they have now moved to male members of the skeptic community of somewhat lesser stature.  I remember when they invited Thunderf00t into their community just long enough to scalp him.  Matt Dillahunty obviously did not.  In fairness, he was probably busy that day blocking me from his Twitter feed for trying to comment on the absurdity of the ongoing Girlyban assaults.  I vaguely remember seeing a video shot from below the dash of his car where he waxed poetic on the joys of this new atheism.   I quit wasting time listening to his Texas podcasts since he was such a big prick. see also: PZ Myers)

Since I don’t stalk people who ban or block me, he was off my radar until he popped back up the other day on his own accord.  How did that work out for you Matt?  PLUS ONE to the list.  Ha Ha.  I TOLD YOU SO.

I am with you 100 percent.  Your observations on PZ are identical to what I have witnessed, and I WAS a longtime follower/commenter at his site for at least a couple years before he went off the rails.

You are not alone.  The list of personal casualties is growing longer and longer every day, but the blow to the very core of group logic was delivered last year by Rebecca Watson, with her ridiculous elevator guy screeds and rationalizations.  I was quick to come to the support of Richard Dawkins, when his cogent comments on the incident caused the “American Girlyban” contingent to attack him.  The attacks on rationalist males has now escalated to the point that they are shooting at their own MALE supporters.  It would be funny were it not for the damage to the people and movement that first embraced them.  I was not up to speed on Twitter when this first went down or I would have coined a shorter name than American Girlyban (though I do think it the best!!).  The hashtag winner was #ftbullies, and now #atheismplus, their self-selected handle, is taking hold.  Perhaps we could agree (to save precious character count), on a completely new hash tag that is even shorter?  Something that starts with AP and ends with ES would only take four characters, and be a nice aside to evolutionary biology.  After all, these freaks we are dealing with are most definitely a product of nature, every bit as much as the two headed calves we drop a quarter to glimpse at the State Fair sideshows.  #apes or #fapes (the f is for femininity as well as preventing possible backlash against a much more noble primate.)

Welcome to the new age era of “touchy-feely” atheism.  Finally, somebody has figured out a way to carve out a space where non-rational atheists can feel at home.

Mounting Casualities

Looks like Thunderf00t and Greg Laden have been run off Free Thought Blogs.:

We are parting company with two of our bloggers: Thunderf00t and Greg Laden. We wish them both the best but, unfortunately, their behavior towards other members of the community has made it impossible to keep them as part of our network. This is not a matter of a disagreement or difference of opinion, but of behavior that we cannot condone or support.

Didn’t take Thunderf00t long to get accused of bad behavior.  About a week if I recall.   There must be something we didn’t see, because the only “behavior” I ever saw him display was rational examination of what are the most irrational claims being thrown at atheists and skeptics since the quieting of the flat Earth contingent.

Congratulations to the the American Girlyban!!  Your list of scalps continues to grow even as the level of attention (and mockery) you bring to yourselves and skeptics in general hits new levels of vapidity.  I am not sure what Greg Laden is accused of.  I had already quit reading FTB and only returned when Thunderf00t joined.  I need to go back and examine what dastardly deed caused Mr. Laden’s eviction.  I suspect it was rational thinking based on Thunderf00t, but maybe the Gasbagging Girlyban are fingering him as “creepy elevator guy”?  I always assumed it was PZ Myers, but whocouldanode?

I try to steer away from the more vulgar assessments of Baby Becca, even if I agree that what she is doing IS downright vulgar.  I never met her (or any of you) except on the blogs.  I attend ALL the major conferences though (on Youtube…lol).

She will not be shamed (or reasoned) into admitting her inter-group terrorism is unnecessary and obnoxious, no matter what approach one uses.  I came out-of-the-gate (Attack of the American Girlyban) with a mix of humor, mocking satire, and sarcasm hoping to induce a bit of shame.  At the end of the day, nobody who worries about security at heavily attended events held in classy hotels (often casinos with uber security btw) should be taken seriously.  Such concerns are CLEARLY irrational.

Many skeptics of higher regard than myself weighed in on the initial creepy elevator guy incident, the most noted being Richard Dawkins, who not coincidentally said exactly the right thing in about the right tone of voice.  Dawkins is certainly not considered a firebrand by anyone except the crazy religious crowd.  When his viewpoint was met with such hostility, it prompted me to engage.  Not only because I am a HUGE Richard Dawkins fan, but also because his viewpoint and mine were in accord.

It was almost a year ago today that I penned the original American Girlyban column.  I won’t link whore.  Google finds me quick enough for those who desire, and unlike CoffeeLovingSkeptic, I won’t be cowed into submission or silence by a bunch of spoiled, yuppie post teenagers with bad attitudes.  Nothing short of a massive “cloud” failure is slowing down my output.  I do Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr and Yelp.  I have been blogging since before Blogger was Blogger (Pyra Labs).  My Yahoo email account was established in 1998, and it wasn’t my first.  So bring it on.

FWIW, I am not “doing” Freethoughtblogs anymore.  Thunderf00t was the last straw for me, though with the introduction of the all the earlier banning and blocking, it was already coming to resemble a bad replica of nearly any Creationist or ID website.  They can all sit around over at Freethoughtblogs curling each other’s hair and painting each other’s toenails while PZ Myers does tantalizing things to them with octopus tentacles.  I don’t care.

I have taken to cross-posting my longer comments to my blog before submitting, since these days, one never knows if their comments will meet with the approval of the host.  I don’t mind being shunned, but I won’t be shouted down.  There weren’t any WMD’s in Iraq, and there is nothing dangerous for women attending conferences of skeptics that requires the level of bullshit, whining and focus that the American Girlyban have proffered.
